Slow Cooker: Cinema-making

Following on from our Radical Research Retreat in June, the next GCP collaboration with Rachel Johnson and Sarah Feinstein took the form of a ‘work in progress’ seminar on experimental 'cinema-making' and participatory, experiential research as part of the Centre for World Cinemas and Digital Cultures research programme at Leeds University. The seminar presented the critical concepts underlying the research retreat, and pointed towards next steps for the research. It also took an edible format: Rachel, Christo and Sarah shared the 'slow cooker' method of dining as convivial research. In other words, there was a small, slow cooked meal in the second part of the seminar.
