Itinerant Cinema Residency, University of Reading

Itinerant Cinema is a collaboration with Shweta Ghosh and Lucia Nagib, as part of the University of Reading BA Film and Television programme. Two groups of students coordinated a community-oriented film screening, building upon the allegory of the ‘good cave’ - a positive view of a cave that brings enlightenment, unlike Plato’s illusionistic cave. The residency culminated in two public events in May 2026, on campus outside the department for Film & TV, and in the Hexham Community Centre in Reading.
